On November 3, 2011, Studentawards president Suzanne Tyson was a guest speaker at the Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario’s conference entitled “Fear of Finance: Financial Literacy and Planning for Postsecondary Education”.

As part of the session entitled “Student Perceptions of Financing Postsecondary Education”, Suzanne’s presentation summarized numerous Studentawards research studies, and covered several aspects of educational financial literacy, including:

• Student attitudes toward higher education
• How students are funding their higher education
• Employment prospects for the Class of 2011
